John has been involved in conferences and events for more than a decade as a conference producer, as a sponsor and exhibitor and as counsel for clients in their desire to make their conference attendance and exhibition more powerful and effective.
A marketer and product manager, John has been involved in building internet properties since 1994 starting with the founding of the Internet Services division at MarketSource Corporation, and t@p Online – the first online community for college students. Both were acquired by Alloy Media and Marketing.
Since then, he’s worked in executive roles in startup digital media organizations. More recently, he led the Podcasting Business Unit at Audible.com where he led product management for the first podcasting platform to fully manage, measure and monetize downloadable audio. The company and platform have since been acquired by Amazon.
